Intimate Area Revitalisation – Nowa Estetyka in Wroclaw, Poland
The procedure involves the administration of hyaluronic acid into the subcutaneous tissue of the labia, resulting in enlargement, revitalisation, and moisturisation of the skin. The outcome is a rejuvenated appearance of the intimate areas.
Indications for labial augmentation, shaping, and revitalisation include complete atrophy due to fat pad collapse, congenital asymmetry, or dissatisfaction with appearance. Labial modelling and filling address tissue loss caused by hormonal changes, weight loss, or menopause. The procedure can be performed on both the labia minora and labia majora.
Labial Enlargement (Augmentation)
The procedure involves subcutaneous injection of a preparation based on hyaluronic acid, resulting in the enhancement of underdeveloped tissue. Hyaluronic acid works by hydrating cells, increasing the volume of the treated area, and stimulating fibroblasts to produce new collagen fibers over time. Hyaluronic acid not only improves the aesthetic appearance of intimate areas, correcting minor asymmetries, but also naturally encourages cellular remodelling.
Revitalisation restores the aesthetic appearance of the genital area in women after significant weight loss, post-illness, or when imperfections from menopause become visible. Augmentation of underdeveloped labia majora eliminates the risk of chafing and frequent infections that occur when the genital tract is insufficiently protected.
Indications
- Desire to improve the aesthetic appearance and attractiveness of intimate areas for one’s partner
- Reduced satisfaction with sexual life
- Labial asymmetry
- Frequent infections caused by small labia that do not adequately protect the vaginal canal
- Frequent injuries and chafing, pain, and itching in the intimate area
- Loose, dry skin of the genital area in menopausal patients
- Loss of firmness and volume of the labia
- Dissatisfaction with the appearance of intimate areas after significant weight loss
Procedure
The procedure is performed by a specialist in gynaecology and obstetrics. No special preparation is required from the patient.
Hyaluronic acid injections are administered under local anaesthesia following skin disinfection. Using a cannula (thin micro-needle), the preparation is injected beneath the skin in the area undergoing revitalisation. The skin is gently massaged to ensure proper and even distribution of the product. The procedure is painless and typically lasts up to 45 minutes.
One session is sufficient to achieve the final result.
Post-Procedure Care
Some minor discomfort may occur after the procedure; however, the patient can immediately return to work and daily activities. Minor bleeding from micro-punctures may occur, and the treated area may be slightly swollen and red for a few days, but this is temporary.
Results
The final outcome—firmer and moisturised skin, increased tension, and enhanced labial volume—is visible one week after the procedure. Effects can last up to 2 years.
Contraindications
- Pregnancy
- Active inflammation or infection of the intimate area
